Tony is not only a great acting coach but a great man. He will inspire you to not wait for
permission to create your own projects and also make sure you never sit on your
impulses. I feel I grew a substantial amount as an actor, writer and artist during my time
spent in Tony’s class. When you’re in a class with Tony you know you have someone in
your corner.

Working with Tony is hands down one of the best experiences of my life. Going into the
class, I had no prior training and I was looking for the best training and experience I
could. Tony guided me as an actor in a way that I never expected. Through all the
activities and training I received from Tony my confidence level shot through the roof.
Since I was pretty much a blank canvas, everything Tony taught me has been painted in
my repertoire as an actor. Tony is also an inspiration as well as a teacher, for the fact
that he loves and has such a passion for acting and showed us that whatever you want
to do as an actor do what it takes to get it done. I could not have asked for a better
teacher!

Anthony is an amazing teacher. He made learning the Meinser Technic a piece of cake.
He had always a great mood in class and was very patient even when we were being
stubborn for some reason. Also, he was a great director for our end of semester
showcase and our show was definitely the best of all that semester thanks to his
dedication and caring for us.

I’ve spent a lot of valuable time and money on many different acting coaches in my life,
but none of them compare to what Anthony was able to provide. So many teachers just
seem to be collecting pay checks while waiting for their big break, but Anthony is
completely in love with the craft and wants nothing more than for his students to excel at
the thing that brings them through his door: acting. He is extremely knowledgeable,

For the past 4 years years Anthony Montes has been a consistent source of inspiration.
Learning the art of performance under his guidance has been transformative for me,
and has helped shape me into the performer I am today. Instructor Montes has set me

Tony is a true breath of fresh air here in LA. He brings that old school New York
behavior while bringing the best out of you. I love his passion for Meisner and the
process. I recommend this class for all levels of acting!

I have studied with Anthony Montes for several years. I found his classes to be
inclusive, informative and a positive environment for growth. He focuses on what “to do”
and not on “what not to do.” This allows for freedom to develop new tools to put in that
